Artur has worked for more than 15 years at the intersection of forest governance, international cooperation and sustainable development, with a strong focus on the Amazon. His experience spans Brazil, Latin America and Europe, working with governments, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, civil society, research institutions, donors and the private sector. With a background in environmental management, urbanism and applied research, his work covers climate and nature finance, REDD+, socio-bioeconomy, sustainable landscapes, public policy and programme evaluation. He founded MKX to connect local realities in the Amazon with international cooperation, finance and policy, translating complex environmental challenges into practical strategies, partnerships and programmes.
